Billing: Automatically extending rebate agreements

Description

As of Release 3.0E, it is possible to automatically extend a rebate agreement with the help of a calendar.

Using the agreement type, you can define your own calendar in Customizing to define whether the rebate agreement is to be extended, for example yearly or half-yearly.

After a certain period, you then select all rebate agreements which are to be extended. To do this, first choose Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data and then Agreement -> Rebate agreement -> Extend. A selection screen appears. The rebate agreements are selected according to the selection criteria that you enter and are extended. You then receive a list of the extended rebate agreements. The rebate agreements which could not be extended also appear in the list with a log.

For each rebate agreement, you can set whether it is to be automatically extended or not. To do this, when you change a rebate agreement, you choose Extras -> Agreement calendar -> Reactivate or Remove .

Maintain the field Agreement calendar under "Define agreement types" in Customizing.
