Material Requirements Planning: USER EXIT: Selecting Materials for the Planning Run
Description
You can use the user exit to limit the planning run (MRP, MPS or long-term planning) to materials that fulfill certain criteria - that you can define.
For example, you can define the following for the planning run:
- the system is only to plan MRP materials,
- the system is only to plan the materials of a certain MRP controller
- the system is only to plan externally procured materials or materials that are produced in-house
