Routings: Mass Replacement and Where-used Lists

Displaying an extended log

For Release 3.0E, the where-used list was extended. Now you can display the usage of work centers, reference operation sets, process instruction categories or production resources/tools in task lists that have already been deleted.
You need this extended log if, for example, you want to delete work centers that were used in deleted task lists. You cannot delete the work centers as long as these task lists have not been physically deleted from the database.

To display the extended log:

Set the Extended log indicator on the selection screen for replacement or displaying a where-used list for a work center, reference operation set or production resource/tool.
Once you receive the selection results, choose Goto -> Log.
You see the extended log with a list of all usages in task lists that have already been deleted, their sequences and operations as long as these objects have not been physically deleted from the database.

Selection of routings, plant or planner group

For Release 3.0E, you can limit the selection results for where-used lists or mass replacement to routings from one plant.

To limit the selection to one plant:

Enter the plant under task list on the selection screen for replacement or where-used lists for work centers, reference operation sets or production resources/tools.
As a result, only the valid routings from this plant are selected.
You can use a planner group to limit your selection even further. Note that you cannot enter a planner group without entering a plant.

Mass replacement of work centers: Standard values for the new work center

Up to now, you could not enter standard values for the new work center when you used the mass replacement function. This is now possible for Release 3.0E. To do this, choose the menu options Settings -> Work center default values.

Mass replacement of work centers: Task list selection using material short text

For Release 3.0E, you can limit the routing selection using the material short text. You do not need to enter the material number in doing this.
