WM: Changes in WM Customizing
Description
For Release 3.0E the following changes have been made to the IMG and to the table views in Warehouse Management:
Storage type control
The view for maintaining storage type control (V_T301) has been removed from the IMG structure SIMG_OLML (Warehouse Management) and replaced by the following:
In the IMG section for
Storage
type definition , the maintenance view V_T301 has been removed
and replaced by V_T3010. The new view still contains all the parameters
required for maintenance of storage type control. Fields that were already
proposed in other IMG sections for maintenance are no longer contained in the
new view:-
Haz.Materials Management and
Water Pollution Class
Hazardous material management and the assignment of the water pollution class are performed in the IMG section
Hazardous materials (maintenance view: V_T331_J / Activate
Hazardous Material Management).
- The section "Blocking/ Inventory" has been removed completely:
Stock placement block,
Stock removal block and Blocking reason
Blocking a storage type is generally not a Customizing but an application function. For this reason, we have transferred this functionality into the application menu of Warehouse Management under "Master data - Storage bin - Block - Storage type" (new maintenance view: V_T331T / Block/unblock storage type).

Printer
The assignment of the printers to the individual storage types is still defined under the IMG section
Activities - Define print control (Maintenance view:
V_T331_A).

Zero inventory,
Stock placement inventory as well as
Zero stock check (stock removal control).
These fields can -- as before -- be maintained via the IMG section (Activities)
Inventory types per storage type (maintenance view:
V_T331_C).
In this connecction, all the field descriptions in the detailed screen for the storage type definition have been reworked. Creating and changing the organizational unit "Storage type" is still controlled via this view only.
Up to now, the maintenance view for the storage type definition (V_T301) was proposed in the section on strategy control. In future, the view V_T301S for setting the parameters in the Warehouse Management strategies is available. In this view, all the relevant fields for maintenance are proposed. New storage types can no longer be created using the section "Strategies", but using the storage type definition only.
