Material Ledger
Description
The following functions are new:
- Using a variant, you can now schedule in the background the conversion of data for production start-up of the Material Ledger.
- The list issued for closing materials for a plant has also been improved.
- If variances occur in a purchase order for subcontract work, you can now subsequently adjust the costs for all materials. Previously this was only possible for raw materials.
- The following authorization objects exist for the Material Ledger:
- K_MLNUSER
This authorization object is for users who are allowed to close specific materials and display material ledger master data.
You can determine the valuation areas in which this object is to apply.
- K_MLPUSER
This authorization object is for users who are allowed to close the Material Ledger for a plant.
You can determine the valuation areas in which this object is to apply.
The authorization objects for the Material Ledger can be found in the authorization class Controlling.
If you wish to release marked standard cost estimates when you close the Material Ledger, you also require the authorization object K_FVMK (class Controlling). If you do not have this, the marked standard cost estimate will be ignored. The price on closing the Material Ledger will be updated in the material master record.
If you wish to convert data for the Material Ledger, you require authorization object S_TABU_DIS. (class Basis - Administration)
