Release 3.0E offers the function Place in Storage With Reference to Material Document.
This function allows you to do the following:
It is not possible to use the following as reference documents: goods receipts for purchase orders, goods receipts for production orders, goods movements for SD deliveries, or goods movements including special stocks.
For the standard movement types, the required table entries will be contained in the delivered system. Therefore, if you use standard movement types, maintenance of the Customizing system will not be necessary.
If you have created your own movement types for movement types 303, 305, 313, 315, 451, and 453 prior to the Release upgrade, you will have to maintain entries in table T156N using transaction sm31.
Example.:
You copied movement type 303 to 903 and movement type 305 to 905. In this case, the following entries are required in table T156N:
| FCode | MvT | MvT | R |
|---|---|---|---|
| SU | 903 | 905 | 3 |
| SUU | 903 | 905 | 3 |
In Customizing of Inventory Management, you can check the new entries under
New movement types (view "reversal/follow-on movement
types").
The new function is contained in the Inventory Management menu under Material document -> Place in storage .
