There is a new user exit in function module MATERIAL_UPDATE_ALL. When updating the material master, the function module checks the data for errors (logical relationships, foreign keys, fixed domain values, and so on).
The user exit makes it possible to check new customer-specific fields. These checks must be identical to the checks that you make for your new fields in online maintenance.
For existing fields, you can extend and intensify existing checks.
