Changes to depreciation simulation
Description
In Release 3.0E, the following changes were made to the "Depreciation
Simulation" report:
- Changes to the selection logic when orders/WBS elements and investment
program positions are included in the report
Previously: When planned investments using
capital investment programs were included in the depreciation
simulation/primary cost planning (indicator "select program positions"), then
all of the orders and WBS elements assigned to the program positions were also
included.
As of 3.0E: Setting the indicator "select
program positions" means that now only program positions are actually
included. In order to include orders/WBS elements, you have to select them
specifically using the indicators "select orders" and "select WBS
elements."
- Other alternatives for the APC basis for the simulation
Previously: The APC basis for the depreciation
simulation/primary cost planning was always the planned values of plan version
000.
As of 3.0E: Now you can use planned
or budget values (indicator "depreciation simulation based on
budget") as the APC basis for the simulation or primary cost planning. In
addition, if you choose planned values as the APC basis, you can also select
any plan version for orders/WBS elements. For investment program positions,
the system will continue (for the time being!) to always use plan version
000.
