Product Costing: Overhead for Subcontracted Materials
Description
In Customizing for product cost controlling, there is an indicator in the valuation variant that enables overhead to be applied to subcontracted materials in product costing. This allows you to include, for instance, the material or administration overhead for subcontracted materials.
Overhead is applied in accordance with the costing sheet in the valuation variant.
Change system parameters in customizing
To use this function, you must:
1. Set the Overhead on
subcontracted materials indicator in the relevant valuation
variants or create a new valuation variant as appropriate.
