Number Range Maintenance Dropped for Product Costing
Description
For the system to be able to find a particular cost estimate, the costing document must be saved under a unique number.
The costing variant is assigned to a number range group. In product costing and base object costing, this assignment is made by the system automatically. In base object costing, it is also possible to change the assignment in Customizing for Product Cost Controlling.

The number range maintenance function has been
dropped for the costing variant for 
product costing with quantity structure and
product costing without quantity structure and for
base object costing.
