New report for actual line items in FI-SL

Description

Beginning with Release 3.0, the previous sample line item report RGUGLS11 has been replaced with the report RGUGLS12.

When you install a table in the FI-SL (Special Purpose Ledger) module in Release 3.0E or later, the new report RGUGLS12 is used as the reference report to automatically generate a report for displaying actual line items.

Installation information

If you work with the summary table GLT1, you can immediately use the new line item report instead of the old one.

If you have already installed your own summary table in a previous release, you can generate a new line item report for your line item tables using the program RGRGENSI.

Changes in procedure

The new line item report offers the following enhanced functionality:

• You can create list variants for line item reports; for details see the documentation on RGUGLS12.

• In the report output, you can display a list of all the fields belonging to the selected line items using the "Line item detail" function.

• Using the function "Keys", you can display a list of the current report columns.
