FI-SL Allocation: Checking the customizing settings

Description

Beginning with Release 3.0E, it is possible to use a program to check allocation customizing settings for a FI-SL table. If required, you can let the settings be automatically corrected. The program checks the correctness of the field usage, the field groups and the data fields.

We recommend that you use the program for all summary tables used in the allocation in order to recognize settings containing errors and correct them.

After you have corrected the errors (manually or automatically), you absolutely must check, if the defined assessments and distributions still produce the desired results.

Further notes

It may happen (for example, due to incorrect delivery of settings for table GLT1 in previous releases) that the program outputs errors and warnings, even though allocations already ran without errors on the relevant summary table.

In this case, you should nevertheless carefully check the allocation customizing, since the successful execution (no errors) of the allocation can only be ensured in some cases.
