S_C_FUNCT

Definition

You can use this authorization object to assign authorizations for calling C kernel functions direct from ABAP programs (with the ABAP key word

• CALL).
  
  

  At present, the authorization can only be assigned for the following C functions:
  

  • SYSTEM: With this function, you can call operating system commands directly.

• In ABAP programs, you perform the authorization check with the function module AUTHORITY_CHECK_C_FUNCT.

  Defined Fields

  The authorization object consists of the following fields:
  

  • ABAP program name: With this field, you can restrict the use of C kernel functions to a few known call programs.
    
• • Activity: Possible values:
• • 16: Execution of C kernel function
• • Name of a CALLable C routine: Here, you can restrict the call to certain C kernel functions.
