Transaction SM65 (the background processing analysis tool) provides service functions for checking background processing. This includes the database consistency check for background processing. Up to now this consistency check was possible only online. This could lead to processing terminations because the time limit was exceeded when very large tables were involved.
As of Release 3.0E, the consistency check can be run as a background job. To run the consistency check in the background, schedule the report BTCCNS. This report is stored as a request in the spool system.
