Assuming you work with the Inflation Accounting solution, when you manually revaluate an asset, the system:

• Posts the revaluation to the revaluation areas that you specify in the manual revaluation transaction
• Updates the asset's last revaluation date using the appropriate date from the posting variant
• Updates the asset's last index used field with a blank
