Filtering Options for the Display Filter and Selection Rule 
Use
In the MRP list and stock/requirements list, there are now further filtering options:
- You can restrict the MRP elements that you have selected in the display filter further using certain additional selections (for example, customer, vendor, storage location).
You either define
the additional selections in Customizing or allow the user to make this
setting in the respective transaction.
- Analogously to the display horizon in the display filter, you can now define in the selection rule which period (selection horizon) is to be represented.
You either define
the selection horizon in Customizing or allow the user to make this setting in
the respective transaction.
- You can choose in the selection rule whether dependent requirements and dependent reservations for bulk materials are to be displayed and also calculated.
Effects on Customizing
You set up the additional selections and the selection horizon in Customizing for MRP or in Customizing for consumption-based planning:
- additional selections: in the IMG activity

- selection horizon: in the IMG activity
Define selection rules.
