Customizing Wizard

Use

A customizing wizard supports the definition and hierarchical ordering of function codes, which the Manager's Desktop user sees as theme categories, subcategories or executable functions in the function tree on the left hand side of the screen.

A Theme Category is a group of functions with related content, which the system displays on one screen. A theme category is subdivided into Subcategories , which contain thematically-related functions but do not themselves trigger a system activity. Examples of Executable Functions are reports, transactions, WWW addresses (URLs), function modules, and so on.

Effects on Customizing

In addition to the corresponding activities in the Manager's Desktop IMG, the customizing wizard is a way of defining function codes.

For more information, see the customizing transaction Wizard for Defining Function Codes.
