Whenever you change information in a physical-sample record, the system automatically records the changes in change documents. A physical-sample record must have been saved at least once before the system creates change documents.

A change document contains the following information:

• Fields in the physical sample master record that were changed (old and new values)
• Name of the person who made the changes
• Date and time of changes

You can display and print change documents when you process a physical-sample record.
