Creating a Sample-Drawing Procedure 

  1. Choose Logistics ® Quality management ® Quality planning ® Basic data ® Sample ® Sample-drawing procedure ® Process.

The initial screen for creating a sampling drawing procedure appears. This screen contains a table in which you can define the header data for one or more sample-drawing procedures.
  1. Choose New entries.

The table fields are ready for input.
  1. Enter the data in the table as required. You must at least enter a key that identifies the sample-drawing procedure.
  1. Select the new sample-drawing procedure in the table and then double click Sample-drawing items in the tree.

  1. Choose New entries.

The detail screen for a sample-drawing item appears.
  1. Enter the required data for the following fields or tabs in the sample-drawing item:

This is the type of lot container to which the sample drawing item applies (for example, barrels).

This is the highest partial sample number in the inspection plan to which the sample-drawing item applies (for example, up to partial-sample number 003).
  1. If needed, enter the optional data for the pooled and reserve samples.
  1. Save the data.
