Single Roles in
MRP (Consumption-Based Planning) 
Use
The following single roles are available in MRP for consumption-based planning:
- MRP - Master Data (SAP_MM_CBP_MASTER_DATA)
Functions for the
maintenance of master data in MRP for external procurement. The maintenance of
master data forms the basis of MRP.
- MRP - Planning Execution (SAP_MM_CBP_PLANNING)
Functions for the
execution of MRP for external procurement. You can use these functions to plan
individual materials, for which the requirements and stock situation has
changed, and thereby ensure that the materials are available in the correct
quantity at the correct time.
- MRP - Evaluation (SAP_MM_CBP_EVALUATIONS)
Functions for the
evaluation of the planning result for external procurement. You can use these
functions to gain information about the availability of materials and to
recognize shortage and exception situations quickly.
For this role, there
are mini-applications that you can use to display ranges of coverage and
exception statistics.
- MRP - Planned Order (SAP_MM_CBP_PLANNED_ORDER)
Functions for
processing planned orders in external procurement. You can use these functions
to adapt planned orders so that they suit the exact requirements situation and
to then trigger the procurement of individual assemblies or components by
converting planned orders.
- MRP - Coordination (SAP_MM_CBP_COORDINATION)
Central functions in
MRP for external procurement that are connected with particular
responsibility. Zentrale Funktionen in der Bedarfsplanung der
Fremdbeschaffung, die mit besonderer Verantwortung verbunden sind. You can use
these functions to control MRP from a higher level.
