Integration of HR Funds and Position Management in Funds Management 

Use

Beginning with this release, it is possible to make an integrated use of the components HR Funds and Position Management and Funds Management . In doing so, you have the opportunity to supplement the personnel expenditure functions contained in HR Funds and Position Management with those of Funds Management:

• Construction and administration of your organizational structure, including the personnel structure.

• Budgeting of personnel expenditures

• Generation of earmarked funds for the financing of employees and and positions

Generating Budget Structure Elements

In order to use both components, you must generate Budget structure elements from the Funds Management Budget structure elements(BS elements) via which are able to work out a detailed breakdown of personnel expenses according to percentages of money.

The maintenance of budget structure elements can be performed as follows:

• Selective maintenance of individual funds:
  All BS elements are displayed for an individual fund. You select those elements from which budget structure elements are to be generated in HR Funds and Position Management.

• Mass generation:
  You can start the generation of budget structure elements for several funds at the same time using program RFFMHR01 . In a mass maintenance, the program generates HR Funds and Position Management budget structure elements from all FM BS elements Report as soon as these fulfill the prerequisites for a budget structure element. A detailed selection of of BS elements is not supported for this mass maintenance.

You generate budget structure elements in the master data maintenance of Funds Management via:
Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> Funds Management -> Master Data -> Assignments -> HR Funds and Position Management -> Generate Budget Structure Elements per Fund or Mass Generation of Budget Structure Elements.

Effects on Customizing

In order to achieve an integration of the components HR Funds and Position Management and Funds Management, you must make Customizing settings in both components.

Customizing Settings in Funds Management

• Maintain RFC destination for HR Funds and Position Management

• Define Document type for Earmarked Funds

• Define Posting Collector

• Maintain Assignments to Groupings Involved in Integration

• Maintain Groupings Involved in Integration

• Define Budget Status During Generation

• Activate 'FM Document Matching' Enhancement

• Activate Funds Management Document Display
