Displaying the Incoming Logical Messages (IDocs) in the Sales System (Optional) 

Use

Once you have received the logical message MATMAS, the sales system processes the IDoc and generates a material master record.

Procedure

  1. To view the status of the incoming material master data, log on to the sales system (client 810).
  2. Call up the transaction as follows:

    The system displays the selection screen for IDocs.

  3. In the Logical message type field, enter MATMAS, then choose .

    4. The system displays a list of MATMAS logical messages. Note the direction of "2", which indicates that this is an incoming message. If this process has already been run today, the system may display more than one logical message. (This report is time and date dependent).

    You can also display IDoc details such as status, control, and data records by double-clicking on the IDoc number.
