Availability of Budget Resources

Use

The drilldown reports listed below are used for reporting on the availability of the budget resources in an investment program. When the budget is exceeded, the report highlights those lines in red.

The system shows, per program position, the existing budget, the funds already committed (actual values and commitments), the budget still available, and the percentage of the budget used. The report shows overall values and annual values.

This drilldown report corresponds to the report for available program budget (above). By double clicking on a program position, you can display the measures that belong to it. The system then shows the same values as described above, but for the investment measure rather than the program.

In this drilldown report, you can enter a profit center hierarchy and a cost center hierarchy in the selection screen. The system then shows the same assigned values from the end node positions in the investment program as in the previous report, but you have the option of breaking them down according to the hierarchies below:

    1. Controlling area
    2. Profit center hierarchy
    3. Cost center hierarchy
    4. End node program positions (positions with no positions below them)
    5. Measures (using double click)

You can turn off the hierarchy again in the list display (Overview), or you can change it there (Edit ® Hierarchy ® Choose).

This drilldown report shows the assigned (actual and commitment) values broken down by the responsible party. The report only evaluates the end node program positions. You can enter the responsible party in the master data of the program position.

For each program position, the report shows the total of the measure budgets, actual posting, down payments, and commitments. You can display the values for the individual measures by double clicking on the program position.

This report shows the assigned values per budget category (refer to Budget Categories). The report displays the values for one year at a time, and the overall values.

This report shows, per program position, the sum of the plan values on the measures, the actual values on the measures, and the expected values on the measures. Before the measure is closed (by changing its status), the expected value is either plan value or actual value, whichever is higher. After it is closed, the expected value is always the actual value. You can display the values for the individual measures by double clicking on the program position.
