Posting Retirement without Revenue (Scrapping) 

Procedure

  1. Check the investment profile of the investment measure in IM Customizing (choose Master Data). Make sure that the investment measure is set up for summary settlement and not line item settlement.
  2. Find the asset under construction for the investment measure in master data maintenance (choose Extras).
  3. Choose Accounting ® Financial accounting ® Fixed assets ® Postings ® Retirement ® Asset scrapping.
  4. Enter the asset in the Transaction data tab page.

Then proceed as described in Posting Retirement without Revenue (Scrapping).
