Creating a Damage Entry in the Order for the Affected Equipment 

Use

The plant maintenance person responsible has received the shop papers and is investigating the cause of the damage in pump set 1. When the investigation is complete, the equipment and damage are entered in the order.

Procedure

  1. Use the following procedure to call the transaction:

    From the Order node, choose Change

    Transaction Code

    IW32

    The system defaults the last order you processed.

  2. Choose .
  3. Choose to use the structure list to assign the affected equipment to the order.
  4. Select the installed equipment:

    If this equipment does not appear in the structure list as installed, it was either removed or replaced by another piece of equipment. If another pump has been installed, choose it. If no equipment has been installed, use Back to return to the previous screen and miss out this step.

    6. The affected pump was assigned to the order.

  6. Choose the tab page Damage.

    7. A notification informs you that the partner functions in the new reference object are not available. Do not delete the partner functions.

  7. Choose .
  8. Position your cursor on the Damage field, then choose F4 help.
  9. Expand the PUMP/100 – Pump damage hierarchy and choose 1000 – Leaking.
  10. Do not leave this screen.

Result

You entered in the order that electric pump 001 is leaky.
