Release 3.0 features the option of performing quality inspections for a delivery note item.
You can activate this function for each delivery type by specifying one of the following inspection lot origins:
You can define whether a quality inspection is to be performed via the control function for the 'QM inspection data' in the material master.
You can also define additional details via a customer and material-specific control function (so-called 'QM control in SD') for delivery notes for a customer, e.g. whether the approval of the QM department is necessary for the delivery or not. The delivery approval is provided by means of a usage decision with the valuation A for acceptance.
If a delivery note item is divided into several partial items by means of a batch split, these partial items generate partial lots for the material which is subject to inspection. An individual sample calculation is performed for each partial lot; the inspection results are recorded and the usage decision is made.
