The complete planning functions were expanded in Release 3.0 to include top-down planning.
With this function you can distribute data from a higher planning level to the levels below it. For example, you can plan at the level of product group first, and then distribute the data down to the product level.
The plan data is distributed in the same way as the existing reference data. Both plan and actual data can be used. You can distribute the data by period or, in order to avoid deviances, with cumulated period values.
If you enter *, you can distribute a number of objects in one run.
The screens and functions for top-down planning are designed like those for the other complete planning functions. Consequently, you can choose individual value fields or plan the job in the background.
In the application menu, you can find the function under "Planning -> Complete plan -> Top-down".
