Maintain Cost
Component Structure
In product costing , the costing results are displayed and saved
using a structure. You can create a cost component structure in this step, or
check whether an existing one is sufficient for your requirements.
A cost component structure consists of up to 40
cost components.
- This means that you can create up to 40 cost
components that contain variable costs.
- For cost components that contain full
costs, the system creates a second cost field internally for the
fixed costs. This means that you can create only 20 cost components that are
flagged as full costs.
Before the cost component structure can be
used, it must be assigned to a costing variant . Remember that the cost component structure for
the estimate must be unique in the company code. You have to
use masked entries for the plant and the costing variant.
Standard
settings

component structure.
