Creating Quantities According to Production Rates (Line Filling)

Use

With the function Quantities according to production rate/line filling, the system creates the maximum possible production quantity in the selected periods. The system calculates the maximum production quantity using the work center/routing data you maintained or using the production rate you maintained in Line Design.

Procedure

Select the production line for which you want to create production quantities.

Select the columns of the periods in which you want to create the production quantities.

Choose Quantity change ® Line filling if you accessed the planning table using Sequencing.

The system creates planned orders with the maximum possible production quantity in the selected periods. If any other material is produced on this production line, the system takes any existing loads into account when calculating the maximum possible production quantity.

Choose Quantity change ® Qty by production rate if you accessed the planning table using Capacity Planning (detailed or rate-based planning).

The system creates planned orders with the maximum production quantity in the selected periods. Here, the system does not take the capacity load of the production line into account. Already existing production loads are deleted.
