Define Fax Options (Spool)

The fax options specify the fax output medium for correspondence, provided that the SAPCOMM communication interface has been defined. Only external correspondence types can be faxed.

If you are working with the SAPCONNECT communications interface, you do not need to make entries here.

You can make the following settings per correspondence activity:

• Output device/fax machine destination

• Total number of copies to be faxed

• Immediate output Yes/No

• Three part name for spool request (1-DSN, 2-Suffix1, 3-Suffix2)

• Delete after output (#x) or only after the spool retention period flow (# #)

• Spool retention period (Default: 8 days, retention period 9 days = for ever)

Requirements

The 'FAX' option must also be maintained in the business partner standing instructions.
