Different change statuses can be defined for a material in Release 3.0 using a change number.
A so-called revision level is then assigned to the material. By specifying this revision level, you can maintain plans, open purchase orders and perform inspections etc.
All of the QM releases in the quality info record also refer to the revision statuses of a material.
