As of Release 3.0 you can settle internal activities directly to profitability segments. Along with the sender and receiver, you must enter the quantity of the service involved and valuate it with the planned activity price for the relevant activity type. The system credits the resulting amount to the sender cost center and debits it to the profitability segment.
This makes it possible to post services such as transport directly to customers without having to do it via cost centers or orders.
You can post data to profitability segments during list entry and on the detail screen.
Both costing-based and account-based Profitability Analysis are updated, provided that both are active.
To assign the costs to value fields in costing-based Profitability Analysis, you first have to maintain the PA settlement structure.
