Message characteristics

A process data calculation formula for an R/3 PI sheet must contain the following message characteristics:

• All required characteristics of the requested message category

• All optional characteristics which should be contained in the message

In the process data calculation formula, you also need to specify how the message characteristics are to be processed.

The definition of the message characteristics directly follows the message category in the calculation formula.
