Various Enhancements in the Line Item Display

Description

1. New function Other LI with SelCond

With the function Line items -> Other LI with SelCond, you can display the line items of another account where the selection conditions that apply to the display of the current line items are also transferred for the new account.

2. New function and -> or

When searching for line items, the search terms for the various search criteria can also be linked with 'or'. This way all items that have one of the entered search values in at least one search field are then found.

3. Output of subtotals

The output of subtotals was adjusted to the line layout of the line items, that is, the subtotals now appear in an adjusted manner with the fields whose totals they form. In addition, the amounts in local currency and in the parallel local currencies are now also totalled and output.

4. Display currency in the summarization mode

In the summarization mode, you can now reach the change of the display currency via Settings -> Display currency. Now the totals in all local currencies and in document currency are created and displayed.

5. New function Tech.name

With the Tech.name function, you can switch back and forth between the display of the descriptions and the display of the technical names (field names) in the dialog boxes where line layout variants, total variants or field lists are displayed.

6. Correspondences

With the new Correspondence -> Display function, you can display the requested correspondences immediately and print them if required.

7. User-specific selections

With the new Hold selection function, the selection conditions entered are stored dependent on user. They can be used by selecting the new User-specific selection parameter on the initial screen of the line item display.

With the Selection conditions function, other selection conditions can also be formulated that are then additionally valid for the current transaction.

However, only six selection criteria are possible in total: With six held selection criteria for a field and additional use of a second selection field, three entry lines are reserved for this second selection field and the last three selection criteria of the first selection field deleted for that.

The new function is only active if you switched them on in the accounting options on the Line items screen.

8. New selection "Open until key date"

With the "Open until key date" selection criterion, all items that were posted on the key date or before and either are still outstanding or were cleared after the key date can be chosen. The criterion "Open at key date" is also available for the search function. It is activated, as the other selection fields, in the configuration menu and can also be combined with other fields ("Open until key date 11/19/1994" and "Business area 0001-0005").

9. Message if the customer is involved in legal dunning proceedings

If the customer is involved in legal dunning proceedings, you can activate a system message upon request which is inactive in the standard system. To do this, choose the path Environment -> Change message control. Then enter the application area F4. On the following screen, choose the New entries function. Then enter the message number 062 and in the Dialog column, the letter S. Save the entry.

When you display the line items for a customer work list, this check is only carried out for the first customer found with legal dunning proceedings, that is, you receive the message only once even if several customers are involved in legal dunning proceedings.
