Operating concern maintenance as of Release 3.0
Description
The menu option "Basic data -> Criteria/Value flds" no longer exists in CO-PA Customizing. The functions are now found in the option "Basic settings -> Maintain op. concern". On the initial screen you can select whether you want to maintain the attributes (currency, fiscal year variant) or the data structures (characteristics and value fields) of the operating concern.
A number of new functions are also available, including:
- status display for the operating concern
- maintenance of specific settings for the operating concern
- different views of the selected characteristics and value fields.
In order to maintain the data structures, you need authorization to maintain tables which affect all clients (S_TABU_CLI).
Change system parameters in customizing
This reduces the number of steps required to create a new operating concern to:
- maintaining the attributes
- maintaining the data structures
- activating the data structures
- generating the environment
You do not have to change or re-create any existing operating concerns.
