Creating One Data Medium For Each House Bank Involved in German Foreign DME Payments - Report RFFOD__L

Description

The creation of data media for German foreign DME transactions has changed as follows:

• Up to Release 2.2* one data medium was created for each payment method. Thus, in the case of 5 house banks, each using 3 payment methods, the system previously generated 15 data media. In order to keep the number of diskettes to be sent as low as possible, the procedure for creating data media has been changed.

• As from Release 3.0A only a single data medium is created for each house bank. This file can now contain data from several different payment methods. In the above example, only 5 data media would now be created.

Installation information

The texts F110_SUMMARY1 and F110_SUMMARY1_SMALL have been changed. Copy these texts in all languages into the client you are using. To do this, use the function Utilities ->Copy from client and enter the texts generically as F110_SUMMARY*.

Changes in procedure

Since it is now possible to create data media for several payment methods and house banks simultaneously, the selection fields for this are optional.

The same counts for domestic DME transactions in Germany.

Further notes

If you want to continue using the old functionality, start the report for DME creation (RFFOD__L) several times and enter the required payment method in the selection screen each time.
