Multiple Valuations in the Information System

In the information system, you need to decide what combination of valuation view and currency type you want to analyze with each report. You can choose between the following combinations:

Settings in Report Definition
When you create a basic report or form, the system displays a dialog box asking you which valuation approaches you want to analyze.
Here you need to choose the characteristics company code and currency type in the form or report.
You can specify different company codes for different cells of the form. If these company codes use different currencies, you will have multiple currencies displayed in your report.
Here you need to choose the characteristic currency type in the form or report. Currency types B0 (legal valuation in operating concern currency) and B2 (profit center valuation in operating concern currency) allow you to analyze both valuation views in the same report.
Authorizations
If profit center valuation is active in Profit Center Accounting, the system checks authorization object K_TP_VALU when you execute a report in Profitability Analysis. This object contains the fields Controlling area, Valuation view, and Activity.
