Appending Bubbles

Use

AutoCAD also provides an option for appending item numbers to each other. Any appended item numbers are given the same format as their predecessor.

Menu path: SAP ® Bill of material tools ® Append bubbles to each other

The procedure for appending an item number is basically the same as the procedure for reading manually (with the exception of the positioning of the leading line in the drawing). You do not enter the start point and supporting points of the item line. Instead, you select an existing item number in the drawing. This item number must have been created using AutoCAD 13 or 14! The new item number is always appended to the end of the chain.

When you choose the function, the following prompts appear:

<Select info point>/create copy/create reference/create empty item number/RETURN=End:
P1

Select existing item number (this item number must have been created using AutoCAD version 13 or 14!):

If an item number is to be appended, an item number must already exist. The existing item number can be selected at any location (i.e. leading line, bubble, number, etc.). - P2.
