Use

You can use the "Change" function to edit the SAP field contents of any material master record.

Menu path: SAP ® Material® Material master record SAP ® Change

The following dialog box will appear:

Description of the dialog box:

In the active fields (top section) of the "Change Material Data" dialog box, you can specify the material that you want to change. The active fields may already contain default values from various sources:

General default values from the AutoCAD configuration file (see also Installation and Configuration)
Default values from the AutoCAD configuration file for the process "Change material data" (see also Installation and Configuration)

If applicable, the values in the fields of the dialog box can be overwritten in this order.

Function	What the function does
Cancel	Terminates the function "Change material master record in the SAP system".
Display	Starts the function "Display material master record in the SAP system". If the entries made in the active fields enable a record to be found, the material master record in question is displayed.

If the change cannot be made, a message to this effect will be issued:

The current material master record data is written to the fields in the bottom left- and right-hand sections of the dialog box.

Description of the dialog box:

You can change the contents of the active fields on the left-hand side of the dialog box. You can display default values for changes in the left half of the dialog box. These values can come from a range of sources:

General default values from the AutoCAD configuration file (see also Installation and Configuration)
Default values from the AutoCAD configuration file for the process "Change material data" (see also Installation and Configuration)
Current values from the SAP material master record

If applicable, the values in the fields of the dialog box can be overwritten in this order.

Function	What the function does
Cancel	Terminates the function "Change material master record in the SAP system" (i.e. the changes made in the dialog box are not sent to the SAP system).
Change	Starts the function "Change material master record in the SAP system". The material master record in the SAP system is changed on the basis of the contents of the active fields.

If the record was changed successfully, you will be notified accordingly:
