You can use the "Display" function to display any material master record.

The following dialog box will appear:

You can enter the material you want to display in the active fields of the "Display Material Master Record" dialog box. Information on the record found is then displayed in the inactive and, if applicable, active fields. The active fields may already contain default values from various sources:

• General default values from the AutoCAD configuration file (see also Installation and Configuration)
• Default values from the AutoCAD configuration file for the "Create material master record" process (see also Installation and Configuration) In our example, the value "x" for the "Engineer view" field. The question mark is also a (default) value taken from the AutoCAD configuration file for the process "Create material master record". This tells users that they have to enter data in the field in question.

If applicable, the values in the fields of the dialog box can be overwritten in this order.
