QM: Customer Exits in the QM System
Description
Release 3.0 features two options for defining the standard application flow in the QM system by means of additional customer-specific specifications:
- Customer field selection
The customer field selection option enables you to mask out unnecessary fields and mark additional fields as required entries etc.
In this way, you can define the screen layout in accordance with your own individual requirements.
- Customer functions
In order to use the customer functions, you must create your own programs which observe the specified interfaces and return "meaningful" data to the calling standard program.
Note that program errors can impair the standard flow of the SAP application.
