Editing Archived Appraisals

Use

The setting that specifies whether archived (completed, approved, or rejected) appraisals may be edited or deleted is now made in the appraisal model. This means that the corresponding control parameter in the Appraisal Systems component is no longer required. Instead, you now make the setting in the appraisals catalog for each appraisal model.

Effects on Existing Data

If your control parameter setting did not allow you to delete appraisals or reset their status, you do not have to do anything. The standard setting is still that deleting and resetting are not allowed.

In all other cases (i.e. where deleting, and status resetting are allowed) you will have to make corresponding settings for each appraisal model.

Effects on Customizing

You make this setting in the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Personnel Development (step: Edit Appraisals Catalog ). You will find the options in the Further processing box on the Processing tab page of each appraisal model.
