Assigning and Displaying the Task List 

Use

To plan preventive maintenance tasks, use this process step to assign a maintenance task list to the maintenance plan. This describes all the tasks that need to be performed.

Procedure

  1. Choose (in the screen area Task list/Gen. task list) to assign a maintenance task list to the item in the maintenance plan.
  2. By assigning a task list, you define the necessary operations for the maintenance item.

  6. If several general task lists exist you will receive a list. Choose the general task list called Pressure check. If only one task list is available, the R/3 system copies the task list automatically.

  7. Choose (in the screen area Task list/Gen. task list) to display the operations overview for the selected instructions.
  8. The task list for the GAS_EXT group only contains one external processing operation for service processing (control key PM03).

  9. Select operation 0010, then choose External.
  10. You can now see the external processing operation details.

  11. In the screen area Reference options, choose to display service specifications.
  12. The service specifications quantitatively describe the services required to perform maintenance tasks. They also set a limit for the value of unplanned services. These services are settled at a later date.

  13. Choose .

  15. The Create Maintenance Plan: Strategy plan screen appears.

  16. Do not leave this screen.

Result

You have assigned a task list to a maintenance plan. This task list includes an external processing operation.
