Data Transfer to FI-SL for FI, MM, AM, SD and CO Documents

Description

In previous releases, the FI document was transferred as the transfer structure to special purpose ledgers for all postings made via financial accounting. For example, if a MM document was posted and if the information was to be transferred to a special purpose ledger, the fields of the resulting FI document could have be used as a transfer structure. In particular, the FI document fields (BKPF/BSEG) were entered as sender fields for the field movement.

As of Release 3.0, data transfer is not carried out via the FI document but rather using a new structure, the so-called RW document. Thus, the transfer structure is now independent of the FI document.
This affects all documents posted in FI, MM, SD, AM as well as the CO documents which generate a FI document.

The existing field movements are converted to the new structure using a XPRA. Please read through the relevant log and double check your field movements. If during conversion, individual fields in the free field movement could not be converted, this is recorded in the log.

If you used user exits, you must adapt them yourself to the new structure.

This XPRA also converts the fixed field movements. If you have made modifications here or used user exits, make sure you check over the results or adapt the exits.

The ledger selection still works with the old structure but you should adapt your ledger selection (if defined) to the new structure sometime during Release 3.0.

You can display the user exits you use with the following function. Only user exits for the sender tables ACCHD, ACCIT_GLX (after the XPRA) and BKPF, BSEG (before the XPRA) are critical and therefore must be edited.

Damage caused to data by errors

Provided that you work with user exits for fixed or variable field movements, you must adapt them to the new structure. Otherwise you will receive incorrect results from the field movement.
