Maintenance and
Service Orders
In this chapter you can configure maintenance
orders.
Maintenance orders are used for carrying out
maintenance tasks.
The following information is contained in the
maintenance order:
- Resources (material, working hours for the
tasks to be carried out, data on operations performed by external
companies)
- Settlement rules for the costs that the order
incurs.
Maintenance orders can be distinguished with
respect to planability.
- Regular maintenance orders
The system creates
orders at certain dates through maintenance plans and maintenance scheduling.
The tasks that are to be performed are derived from the maintenance
plans.
- Planned maintenance orders
Planned maintenance
orders can be created not only from maintenance plans but also from
maintenance notifications (for example, as the result of inspections, the
findings of which are included in maintenance notifications, which in turn are
used as a work queue for future tasks by the responsible maintenance planner
group).
- Unplanned maintenance orders
Unplanned
maintenance orders generally result from unexpected damage, accidents, and so
on, where there is an immediate requirement for the execution of a maintenance
task.
