Integration With Funds Management

In this section of the IMG, you make the settings required for integrating your HR Funds and Position Management component with the Funds Management component.

If your HR Funds and Position Management component is integrated with the Funds Management component, you will be able to benefit from the following functionality:

You can generate HR budget structure elements by FM area in Funds Management.

You can break down the HR budget structure elements that you generate in Funds Management (integrated budget structure elements) further in HR Funds and Position Management.

When you finance a person or a position in HR Funds and Position Mangement, a funds commitment or funds precommitment is created automatically in Funds Management.

The funds reservation in Funds Management is "used up" by the actual payroll data of the person financed in Funds and Position Management.

You must also make all the required settings in the section of the Funds Management IMG entitled Actual and Commitment Update/Integration -> Integration -> Integration with HR Funds and Position Management.
