With the display function you can see the data records, the structures concerned and the fields containing the data transfer file of a data transfer object. The display function enables you to view and check the data transfer file.

You should have an initial data transfer file or a different file in the appropriate format.

• The top line of the screen displays the number of data records. This specifies the number of transactions the transfer file contains.
• The screen displays the fields of the transfer object for each structure in their predefined length and sequence. This enables you to recognize the fields you require from the structure, their length and the sequence in which they occur. You can display the fields of the selected structure by double-clicking on a line in the structure.
• The different hierarchy levels of a data record are flagged with different colors (hierarchy level 1: green, hierarchy level 2: yellow, hierarchy level 3: green, hierarchy level 4: gray).

• You can print the object transfer file (by choosing Table ® Print).
