Parallel Server Configuration for Using SAPDBA

SAPDBA should normally only be started from the DDB instance. In exceptions (for example when looking for freespace in local archiving directories), SAPDBA can also be started from another instance.

Read the information about setting up user system . User system has the authorization to start and stop the database instances remotely. You can therefore call SAPDBA in the usual manner.
