Define
Selection Variant for PI Sheets
In this IMG activity, you can define selection
variants for the selection of PI sheets.
You proceed as follows:
1. You define
your selection variants.
2. You assign
your selection variants to one of the following display variants:
- User-defined display variant
You must have created your display variants in the list overview of the
worklist.
We recommend using the standard selection
variant as a template when defining your own selection variant.
There are predefined selection variants along
with display variants for each of the following four transactions:

Activities
To define a selection variant, proceed as
follows:
1. Choose the
activity Define Selection Variant for PI Sheets.
The initial screen of the ABAP Editor appears.
2. Enter
RCOPOC_WKLT as the program name and choose Goto
-> Variants.
The initial screen of variant maintenance appears.
3. Choose input
help to select the variant that you want to copy.
4. Choose
Variant -> Copy....
A dialog box appears.
5. Enter a new
name for the selection variant you want to create in the To
variant field and choose Copy.
The system copies the standard selection variant under the new
name.
6. Choose
Change to define the selection criteria in the new
variant.
The selection screen for PI sheet selection appears.
7. Enter the
selection criteria you want to use. To display all selection fields, choose
Edit -> All selections.
8. If you want
to use the display variant defined in the selection variant, continue with
step 9.
If you do not want to use it, enter a different display variant and continue
with step 9.
9. Save your
selection variant.

Notes
You can also define selection variants in all
of the above-mentioned four transactions. You can always change existing
selection variants during the dialog. The changes take effect immediately when
your start the transaction again.
