This section describes which characteristics you have to assign when defining process instruction categories of type sequence definition for R/3 PI sheets.
In a sequence definition, you specify the number of the phase you must have completed processing before you can process the phase containing the sequence definition.
Assign the following characteristics:
| Characteristic | Meaning | Allowed values | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PPPI_PREDECESSOR | number of the phase | number of a phase of | ||
| to be processed first | the respective order | |||
| (predecessor phase) |
The characteristic PPPI_PREDECESSOR can only be used once in a sequence definition. If there are several predecessors of a phase, you have to specify a sequence definition for each predecessor.
Define characteristics for process instructions
The standard R/3 System contains an example of a sequence definition.
When generating process instructions with the scope of generation 05 (for all predecessors), the value of the characteristic PPPI_PREDECESSOR is automatically assigned. The number of the preceding phase is determined from the relationships defined in the order.
